Our design was born from the needs of the 2 different "scales of traffic" on either side of the street lamp, that is, the pedestrians on the sidewalk and the cars on the main street. The lower half of the lamp is dedicated to the sidewalk and the top half to the street. Its angle defines this function. This modular design is simple, elegant, economical, and yet functional. As you walk/drive past it, the dynamic oval profile shifts from wide to thin, like the form of a blade. The wider side is wide enough for the passerby to lean on for an occasional rest.
