This home is designed for a young couple and their toddler. The brief called for a modern aesthetic, open spaces, outdoor indoor connections, and at the same time a feeling of privacy. The design is simple: two prominent concrete structural walls that are parallel to each other (adding a sense of security and privacy from neighbouring properties), with lighter elements of wood, steel and glass in-between. A courtyard space in the center unites the interior spaces and connects the outdoors to the indoors.
