Scheme 1
The brief for this project called for a cluster of restaurants along with a recreatioal ground catering to the upcoming area of Kharadi. The design solution was to create an elevated park with pavilions, childrens’ playground, jogging tracks, and to have restaurants below. There are cut-outs at the park level to create light filled courtyards below. The restaurant layout is very flexible and can be changed based on tenant requirements. The park is seen as an anchor for future development around it.
Scheme 2
The second scheme imagines the restaurants as part of the landscape. They embrace the steep slope of the site creating a sequence of cascading terraces that become gardens, roofs or patios of restaurants.
