The Suzhou Tower is an iconic design based on the idea of a fish, a Chinese symbol of prosperity, and especially relevant to Suzhou which is surrounded by water and is known as the Venice of the East. Along the spine of the tower are stacked sky gardens looking back to the historical city center with its world renowned gardens. The skin of the building with its overlapping glass scales continues the development of the fish idea.
Programmatically, it is a mixed-use tower. The lower podium annex accommodates
luxury serviced apartments, office space and hotel are located in the main tower, and hospitality and event spaces are at the top. The entire development is accessible to the future MTR concourse.
