This house, located in the hills, is designed for a single mother and her daughter. The brief called for a small 125 SQM house with a limited budget, built on existing foundations. Our design reflects simple modern principles applied to a regional aesthetic of terracotta roof tiles, wooden shutters and white plaster. On the ground floor all living spaces open to a full length verandah. On the upper floor, spaces are centered around a library/meditation room that looks out to a spectacular view of the hills beyond.
